Samsung introduced the Galaxy A36 back in March, and now the upcoming Galaxy A37 has surfaced, confirming its development. Although the phone’s firmware was recently found on Samsung’s servers, it didn’t disclose any specific features. Fortunately, Geekbench has revealed important details about the device’s hardware.
The Samsung Galaxy A37, identified by the model number SM-A376B, is powered by the Exynos 1480 processor. The benchmark results show the device running on Android 16 with 6GB of RAM, although additional memory configurations could be introduced at launch.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy A37 scored 1,158 points on Geekbench's single-core test and 3,401 points on the multi-core test. This represents a noticeable improvement over the Galaxy A36, which runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and managed scores of 1,007 and 2,917 respectively in our earlier review.
Other details about the Galaxy A37 remain under wraps, and we will have to wait for further information to get a clearer picture of what else the phone will offer. Given the recent rise in RAM prices, there is speculation that Samsung might also consider bringing back 4GB RAM variants for this model.
