OnePlus has finally confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated Ace 6T smartphone after releasing several teasers. This device is notable for being the first smartphone globally to feature Qualcomm's newly unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The OnePlus Ace 6T is set to make its debut in China on December 3, with pre-orders already available through the official OnePlus China online store.
The Ace 6T boasts a sleek metal frame and a dual rear camera system. It sports an AMOLED display with narrow bezels and an impressive 165Hz refresh rate, promising smooth visuals. Powering the device is a substantial 8,000mAh battery that supports rapid 100W fast charging. Notably, it replaces the traditional Alert Slider with a Shortcut key for enhanced user convenience.
Customers can choose from three color options: Electric Violet, Flash Black, and Fleeting Green. The phone runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 in the Chinese market. Meanwhile, OnePlus is preparing for a global release of the OnePlus 15R on December 17, a model that is expected to share its foundation with the Ace 6T.
