Realme GT 8 Pro to Launch in India on November 20 — Set to Challenge the OnePlus 15 Head-On

Realme is gearing up to make waves in India once again. After creating a stir with its China debut, the Realme GT 8 Pro finally has a confirmed India launch date — November 20, 2025, according to trusted industry insider Yogesh Brar.

This comes after early rumors hinted at a November 11 event, meaning fans will have to wait just a little longer. But if Realme’s track record is anything to go by, it’ll be worth it.

A Packed Flagship Season

The GT 8 Pro’s India arrival will happen right in the thick of flagship season — alongside major launches like the OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15. Clearly, Realme is positioning its latest GT phone as a serious competitor in the premium Android space.

Display and Performance

The Realme GT 8 Pro isn’t holding back when it comes to specs. The device features a 6.79-inch QHD+ OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 7,000 nits peak brightness, making it one of the brightest displays in any smartphone today.

Under the hood, it runs on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset — the same processor found in the OnePlus 15 — paired with a custom R1 graphics chip to enhance gaming performance.

Powering the beast is a massive 7,000mAh battery, supporting 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Photography — Co-engineered with Ricoh

Realme has joined hands with Ricoh, the legendary camera brand, to tune the GT 8 Pro’s triple-lens system. The setup includes:

  • 50MP main sensor with Ricoh GR anti-glare lens

  • 50MP ultra-wide camera

  • 200MP Samsung HP5 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom

This collaboration aims to deliver flagship-level imaging with better color accuracy and detail.

Price Expectations

In China, the GT 8 Pro launched at CNY 3,999 (~₹49,400). Given Realme’s pricing history, the Indian launch price is expected to land around the ₹60,000 mark — making it a direct rival to the OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15.
